Papers, papers everywhere

Two bioinformatics bloggers have papers out: Alf has one about Hubmed in NAR's web server issue and Moses has one about Agile software development of biomedical software. Speaking of NAR's web server issue, it's a whopper.

I'm encountering some issues with Postgenomic: it hasn't been updated for the past week because there have been problems with the crawler collecting the correct metadata from papers (this is due partly to bad methodology on my part and partly to certain journals being cagey with unique identifiers). Hopefully I'll get the problem resolved soon.

Now onto the metablogging: Notes from the Biomass is back!

I just found your blog and haven't had time to read it thoroughly. Have you heard about the big bioinformatics immunology project at La Jolla Institute for Allergy and Immunology? I'm writing an article about it. Apparently, the results predict the ability to map the immune response to huge viruses and maybe even bacteria someday.
Thought I'd drop you a line. Visit me at "Science in the Media".
